OptimaTM System Features
Optima Monitor
Air Sensors
- Air sensors include temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, airborne
particles at PM2.5 and PM10, radon, ozone, and total volatile organic compounds (TVOC).
- The monitor can internally store fifteen days of data or the data can be uploaded to the Knowledge
Center automatically using built-in local wireless capabilities. Automatic uploading of data allows user
to see trended indoor air data in a graphical format as the data is being collected on site.
- Automatic upload times are programmable from 1 hour to 24 hours.
- Sensor data sampled by monitor at 1 minute intervals.
Mold Sampling
- Automatic sampling of outside and inside air.
- Monitor houses 4 replaceable spore trap sample cartridges.
- Mold sample cartridges are sent to one of Aircuity's affiliated laboratories for microscopic analysis.
Laboratory results are provided via the Internet to the Aircuity Knowledge Center for further analysis and
reporting typically within 24 hours to 48 hours.
Communication between Monitor and Knowledge Center
- The sensor data is wirelessly transferred from the monitor to a provided base unit modem. The modem
then uses a local Aircuity Internet Service Provider (ISP) to transfer the data to the Arcuity Knowledge
Center.
- 900 MHz spread spectrum local wireless communication between the monitor and a modem base unit.
Monitor Dimensions and Weight
- 13.3"h x 8.9"w x 11.8"d
- 13.8 lbs
Knowledge CenterTM
- Fully integrated Internet-based client and building data management system that automatically organizes
all building information and collected data.
- Knowledge Center located within Aircuity's central computer system.
- Password protected access to account information.
- On-line protected and permanent storage of collected environmental data along with key building
characteristics for paperless data management.
- Easy-to-use Internet interface to see graphed trended indoor data.
- Automatic back-up of all collected data and building information.
- Displays test session history and status of current testing.
Aircuity AdvisorTM
- An automated on-line reporting tool incorporating artificial intelligence technology-based expert
system that is the most advanced building analysis program in the industry.
- Uses the collective knowledge and experience of building analysis, indoor air quality, and mold
experts. Provides automatic access to world-class expertise.
